Description

This family of ukuleles was constructed of aged koa hardwood from the island of Maui. It was intended to represent, and pay homage to, the families affected by the fires of August 8, 2023. The Treecovery Hawaii logo on the peghead is made of kiawe wood from a tree that was burned in the Lāhaina fire, and inlaid into the ebony veneer. The Treecovery Hawaii logo on the back is engraved into the koa, and finished over with 12 coats of lacquer. The four sizes are, from smallest to largest: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone.
