Description
Own a piece of history. The Goddess of Fire, Pele, from the Rising from the Ashes – Spirit of Aloha collection by world-renowned artist Dale Zarrella, is a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind work of art. This exceptional carving, made from beautiful milo and standing approximately 38 inches tall, is created from trees salvaged from the fires that ravaged Maui in 2023. Fire Goddess, Pele, was meticulously crafted by hand in Dale’s Maui studio, where he masterfully brought out the Hawaiian goddess hidden just beneath the charred bark.
Pele, revered as the goddess of fire, lightning, and volcanoes, is a central figure in Hawaiian mythology. Known for her power and passion, she is believed to both create and destroy, shaping the Hawaiian Islands through her fiery presence. Pele symbolizes transformation, creation from destruction, and the fierce spirit of nature. Her influence is deeply felt across the islands, making her a powerful symbol of resilience, renewal, and the unstoppable force of life.
Dale’s Rising from the Ashes – Spirit of Aloha collection is being offered exclusively through Treecovery as a way to support the victims of the fire.
